November 19th marks International Men’s Day and celebrates the positive value men bring to the world, their families, and communities. It is celebrated in around 80 countries worldwide. The aim is to highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being.
International Men’s Day focuses on the following objectives: valuing male role models, acknowledging the contribution of men and boys, improving male health, tackling discrimination and disadvantage, fostering positive gender relations, and making the world a safer place for everyone. The theme for 2021 is ‘better relations between men and women’.
