Susie came into the world of garden and plant design by way of a natural extension to her previous life in floristry and events and as a director of Kennedys Property Agents, based in the beautiful Surrey Hills.
Susie graduated from the London College of Garden Design (LCGD) in ’24 with a distinction in the Garden Design Diploma, then in ’25 with the planting design diploma, attaining the much acclaimed judges award for her design from Jo Thompson, to round this off, Susie completed the Plantsmanship course and so being one of the few graduates to achieve the advance diploma from LCGD.
Pulling inspiration from her passion of sustainability and all things vintage, Susie`s distinctive style is one of rustic romance.
Embracing the craftmanship and skills from a time gone by, creating outdoor spaces that are an extension of the home, and utilising every opportunity to reflect the owner’s personality.

I aim to tread lightly where those have trodden before, sometimes it is all too easy to go into a garden and want to start again, many designers have a distinct style and put their stamp on a garden. I believe a garden should be an extension of you and your home and not a designer’s playground. More often than not, gardens need the gentle touch; by taking time to get to know your space and environment, we can together create a garden that has a sense of place and be a space for all that may be enjoying it. Including areas in the garden for wildlife, both big and small, means the garden has a greater bio-diversity, which is better for you, the environment and the garden .
