By adapting its structure and growing the brand and platform in a way that reflects the direction the industry is going, whilst continuing to bestow the virtues of our traditional model and remaining fully operational from our beautiful offices at 48 Walton Street.

Growing the business and the brand, and expanding our core areas was always something I wanted to do, but never really found the right way to do it; certainly, opening new offices and having the additional pressure and cost of managing them, was never appealing, and there wasn`t another feasible route – until now.

The evolution of our industry is moving rapidly, and in a direction that I believe suits our business, as more and more agents look to the self employed model as a way of increasing their own reputation, control and of course income. There are any number of different models coming to the fore, but I believe Kennedys` IPA offers our agents a quality platform of customer service, high end marketing content, and a combination of traditional values and modern methods, all with their own geographic areas, and the support of a leading independent agency within the Surrey Hills area, and importantly an agency that is still operating a traditional model at it`s Walton Street office, from where myself and the support team here will continue to provide the high levels of service and expertise that our clients, past, present, and future, come to expect of us.

Ashstead & Epsom

This is a natural extension of what we’ve built at Kennedys’: rooted in care, honesty, appreciation of the details, and local knowledge. As an Independent Property Agent I intend to take a “quality over quantity” approach, representing a select few clients and their homes, allowing me to provide them all with the time and attention they deserve.

Ashtead and Epsom are full of homes with character, history, and creativity, but too often they’re marketed in a way that overlooks their individuality: my aim is to change that. I want to give homeowners a place where they and their home are properly understood, where the details matter, and where thoughtful presentation makes all the difference.

When Peter asked me where I wanted to operate as the first “IPA” under the Kennedys’ brand, I didn’t hesitate; Ashtead and Epsom are, in my view, home to some of the most exciting opportunities and properties anywhere around our existing core patch. I’ve long wanted to bring Kennedys’ into these neighbourhoods, and relish the opportunity to now do so.

Some homes are just a bit special. They reflect the personalities of the people who live in them, and carry a story that deserves to be heard. Homes with history, with character, with architectural ingenuity. It’s those homes, and the people behind them, that I want to represent as an IPA in Ashtead and Epsom.

Martin Buhagiar

Cheam, Sutton, Carshalton Beeches, Wallington, Stoneleigh, Worcester Park, New Malden, Nork & Banstead

When I made the announcement at the end of last year that we would be launching our IPA platform, I knew that we would be starting a new journey that would, almost inevitably, take its own path, so long as we worked hard and continued to create an environment that others would embrace and choose as a place to grow their own professional reputation.

I have known Martin and his young family for a number of years, and had always recognised his qualities, both personally and professionally

Focusing on the areas of South Sutton and Cheam, Martin has all the ingredients to fit into the Kennedys ethos and brand, as we look to expand our team and find partners with whom we can find real synergy. So I will hand you over to Martin, and let him introduce himself to you in his own words;

My 35 years experience in the Motor Trade running luxury car dealerships has made me obsessive about delivering exceptional client experiences.

From Maltese decent I grew up in South London and lived in Stoneleigh, Cheam and South Sutton for 15 years before moving to Kingswood in 2018. Married to Vanessa owner of VSL Nail & Beauty Salon & VSL Urban Retreat Spa Days in Kingswood, we have two children aged 9 & 6 who take up most of our spare time with swimming, horse riding and football.

Having recently experienced the dramatic positive change that was made when Peter Kennedy sold my closest friends house, I suddenly realised that I too would like my future career to be as fulfilling and life changing whilst helping clients either find their dream home, make a change that is right for them as well as help clients move on from unplanned life events.

I can’t wait to start this exciting new journey.

Helen Miles

Banstead, Chipstead, Coulsdon, South Nutfield

When building our new IPA platform, it was important that we focused on quality over quantity, and carefully chose individuals who we believe will uphold the values and virtues that have been the pillars on which I have built the Kennedys brand.

And in Helen Miles, I believe we have found such a person, so I am delighted to announce that Helen is joining us, focusing her time and skills on the the East Side of our area, including Banstead, Chipstead, Coulsdon, South Nutfield.

I have known Helen for a number of years, and am really excited to see her bring both her infectious personality and professional skills to her new role and journey.

I am very excited to be able to say that now I will be joining the team at Kennedys` working as one of their new IPA’s. I come from a sales background, more recently in golf, as I have been running a Golf Sales Agency within the South-East. Property has always been a huge passion of mine, and after 3 house moves and 2 major renovations, I have become obsessed with all things property. Although I have to say, having been involved in selling for various companies over the years, for me, sales really just boils down to working well with people and understanding their needs. Something that surprisingly gets missed sometimes when people try to sell me things.

So, I am looking forward to not just hearing about how many bedrooms you are looking for, or how many square foot you are after. What I am interested in is understanding your reasons for wanting to make a move, and what you are wanting to achieve from your next property. Whatever your reasons why, I would be happy to hear from you and would be very privileged to help with the marketing of your current home, or to help you to find your next home.
